The Tea

High Mountain Oolong

Natural floral and fruit aromas unfold gently, elegant and layered. The liquor is bright and smooth, rich in body and rounded; the finish is refreshing and sweet, with a long tea character — best sipped slowly. The leaves come from Xinyi Township, nurtured by high-mountain mist.

The Story

Tataka Giant Hemlock

Tataka Saddle is the trailhead for Yushan’s Main Peak. Near the saddle stands a great Taiwan hemlock about 900 years old, still standing firm through wind and snow. When heart rot was found on a patrol in 2023, Yushan National Park and NTU’s Experimental Forest began treating it together, and they are still keeping watch over it.

Shan Yu first learned to make tea in Xinyi Township. This cup is a return to where it all started.
