The Tea

Longan Blossom Scented Jin Xuan

Longan blossom, delicate and softly sweet, over a smooth Jin Xuan base with a light creaminess; the finish leaves a faint honeyed sweetness and no roasted notes. The longan blossoms are hand-picked before the Qingming Festival for a light, pure fragrance, and the Jin Xuan comes from our own friendly farmland, grown without pesticides. Scented naturally with freshly picked blossoms, then dried in traditional bamboo roasting baskets.

The Story

Nuomi (Sticky Rice) Bridge

Built in 1940 over the Beigang River, Nuomi Bridge is a stone bridge with four arches. Cement was scarce during the war, so the builders bound the stones with a mortar of sticky rice, brown sugar and lime. It is now a county-designated historic site.

Sticky rice, brown sugar and lime held the stones together into a bridge; longan blossom and Jin Xuan, too, need time to become one. Good things are built slowly.
