The Story

Zhuoshui Station

The Jiji Line opened in 1922, first laid to carry equipment for the Sun Moon Lake hydropower project. Zhuoshui Station takes its name from the Zhuoshui River, and the railway follows the river into the mountains.

Mingjian produces more tea than any other township in Taiwan. Si Ji Chun has new tea in every season — a generous floral aroma, friendly and forgiving to brew. It is the tea people in Nantou drink every day.
