The Tea

Wild Ginger Lily Scented Oolong

First comes the fresh, gentle fragrance of wild ginger lily. The oolong base carries ripe-fruit notes and a mellow warmth; the floral scent lingers in the throat, leaving you calm and soothed. The ginger lilies grow on our own friendly farmland, hand-picked in season; the tea is naturally scented with fresh flowers and roasted in small batches.

The Story

Lianxing Temple

Lianxing Temple was founded in the Qianlong reign of the Qing dynasty (by one account in 1742) and is dedicated to Mazu, the Heavenly Holy Mother. It is considered the oldest Mazu temple in Nantou and is a county-designated historic site.

After the 921 earthquake, the temple and the old street were restored piece by piece. From here, the mountain roads toward Lugu and Shanlinxi are lined with tea gardens all the way.
